Bangladesh has immense potential to implement an efficient multimodal transport network thereby facilitating seamless transport of goods between suppliers and receivers. Bangladesh, following an export-led growth model, plans to become a developed nation by 2041 which will invariably strain the already under-pressure transport infrastructure. In light of the reality, multimodal transport system offers itself as potential model to enhance the efficiency of the transport network for Bangladesh by domestic, regional and international integration.
